68. 69. 70.
a few weeks ago I mentioned to Heather that I wish I could paint to express myself.
I decided to try my hand at collage.
I didn't want it to look like a 5th grade cut & paste.
Here are a few.
This one isn't finished. The words by her head say
'and who cannot abuse a body to dead?'
(Shakespeare)
The words say:
'as the grim lion fawneth o'er his prey
for in thy bed i purpose to destroy thee
the story of sweet chasity's decay
black lust, dishonour, shame'
Across her eyes it says:
'the unseen secrecy of night'
and my her cheek
'upon my cheeks what helpless shame i feel'
(all from Shakespeare)
I don't have a real camera.
everything is from my phone.
176
I was really confused what number we were on here. I went to a place online to calculate the number of days between when we started this site and today. Today is 176. I hate feeling mixed up about time. Also a good reminder to me that I wanted to take a photo of myself everyday and that that was the point of this blog. Except I hate so many photos of myself. There is that to wrestle with too.
